Great accessory, terrible attachment

The door makes this shelter bombproof. And I appreciate the toggle where you can roll up either side and have a half vestibule.

The door attachment system is candidly a terrible design. It's a pain to set up, especially if you want to add/remove it after the tarp is already up. It should come with a second clip option that uses the o-ring that is already installed (used for the bug net inner). This would have the added benefit of being able to leave it attached between setups.

Integral part of the SplitWing

I bought this together with my SplitWing tarp, and couldn't be happier about that. It creates a covered area more than big enough for my 65L pack, plus room for me to get in and out of the shelter.

I might... MIGHT leave it home if I wasn't expecting any rain, but at 2oz flat it's hardly noticeable in the pack, and it turns a tarp shelter into a home quite nicely. 100% necessary if rain and swirling winds are in the forecast.
